Jessa Nelson holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Biblical Studies from the University of Northwestern. She has been the Chief Executive Officer of Arthur-Rose, LLC, a health care facility she developed in New Richmond, WI since 2006. Previous to owning and managing her own company, she served as the Housing Director for the City of New Richmond where she worked in administering the Community Development Block Grants. Her experience also includes serving as a Residence Director in several residential healthcare facilities.
She is a U.S. Army veteran, serving 11 years as a Combat Engineer Officer in the Wisconsin National Guard. Mrs. Nelson has taught on an adjunct basis within the School of Business at University of Northwestern since 2015.
Nelson resides in New Richmond, Wisconsin, with her husband, Paul. They have two daughters, several cats and a sprinkling of dogs. Nelson enjoys hunting, hiking, and binge-watching America's Funniest Videos in her spare time.
